Topic
OpenCL is a standard for heterogeneous computing that helps developers dispatch parallel computational functions to any processor. Developers can write a single application that can target any combination of CPUs, GPUs, or FPGAs within the system. AJ Guillon, an OpenCL standards committee member, will demonstrate how the next generation of numerical software can leverage OpenCL for performance and portability.
